Ingredients
  • 3lbs apples(or whatever amount you have)
Instructions
  1. Slice apples thin with a mandolin.*
  2. Cut them so you can see the ‘star’ in the middle of the apple. There’s no need to core the apple ahead of time. The seeds and core will fall out as it dehydrates.
  3. Lay the apples on dehydrator trays.**
  4. Dehydrate at 95-100 degrees for about 8 hours (time will depend on how thick the apples are).
  5. Store in an air tight container.
Recipe Notes

* Any mandolin will work to slice the apples thin, but we like this one set to the thin (3.5mm) depth.  This mandolin is very sharp and I highly recommend cut resistant gloves.

**I love this dehydrator because it has adjustable temperature and the trays can be removed to make other things like yogurt.
