These protein balls are a yummy, peanut-buttery treat. Don’t tell the kids they’re healthy! These are also perfect for a post run refuel or an on-the-go snack anytime of day. We love munching on a few of these during the late afternoon doldrums to give us a little energy to get through until dinner. And this is a perfect recipe to get the little ones in the kitchen helping!
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups oats
- .75 cups peanut butter
- .25 cups honey
- 1 tbsp chia seeds**
- .25 cups chocolate chips (optional)
Servings: balls
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix well.
- Roll into balls.
- Refrigerate and enjoy!
